Why use PP in non woven geotextiles?
- A durable and versatile polymer that can be used in aggressive environments
- Excellent resistance to degradation
- Excellent resistance to harmful chemical environments (very resistant to acids and hydroxides)
- Moisture resistance: PP does not absorb water, and water has no effect on its mechanical properties (unlike Polyester)
- Good biological resistance (no deterioration from fungal growth)
- Good temperature stability (at least 150 degrees Celsius before melting)
- Thanks to the addition of UV inhibitors, extended exposure to sunlight can be achieved.
- A long lifetime, when properly installed
