Can BELMIX fibres be used as a replacement for primary reinforcement?
No. However, in ground supported slabs the fibres can be used as a replacement of crack control mesh, provided that the mesh is not in the concrete for structural purposes. Also note that the bay sizes should be no greater than 6 by 6 metres and the ground should be well compacted and stable.
